Assayag Financial is a boutique tax and advisory practice in Irvine, California. We serve founders, families, and operators who want to work with a firm that knows them by name — and plans to, for a long time.
The practice
The firm was founded in 2018 on a straightforward idea: clients deserved to work with the same CPA on the books, the entity return, and the personal return. Too many practices fragment these into separate teams, separate systems, and separate bills — and the work suffers for it.
We keep the client list small on purpose. We’d rather do a hundred and twenty returns well than six hundred returns quickly. Everyone on our team is based in the United States. Every return is reviewed by a licensed CPA before it goes out.
We work primarily with founders of private companies, owners of professional services firms, real estate investors, and the families that sit alongside those businesses. If that’s not you, we’ll happily refer you somewhere good.

Do the work yourself
We don't outsource preparation overseas. The person reviewing your return is the person you talked to in December, and the one you'll talk to next October.

Plan in quarters, not seasons
Most tax savings come from decisions made months before the return is due. We build our calendar around the planning, not the filing.

Say what we mean
If a strategy won't work for you, we'll tell you. If another firm is a better fit, we'll refer you. If the number is bigger than you hoped, we'll explain why, clearly.

Keep the list short
We take on a limited number of new clients each year. It's the only way we've found to keep the quality of the work consistent.
